Agronomy deals with the study in crop husbandry that develop methods to improve use of soil and increase in productivity of food and fiber crops. The program of study in agronomy focuses on knowledge in the field of plant structure and taxonomy, genetics and plant breeding, plant physiology, cropping systems, weed science and seed science and technology.
