NEGERI SEMBILAN, 23 August 2025 – The Welfare and Recreation Club (KKDR) of the Institute of Tropical Agriculture and Food Security (ITAFoS), Universiti Putra Malaysia has organized a climbing program at Bukit Batu Putih, Tanjung Tuan Negeri Sembilan in conjunction with the celebration of Malaysia's 68th Independence Day.

The program, which took place on 23 August, was attended by 35 UPM ITAFoS staff, aimed to foster the spirit of sportsmanship, togetherness and love for the homeland. This climb also became symbolic of the country's independence aspirations which are celebrated every year.

With the chant of "Merdeka!", this activity succeeded in instilling patriotic spirit and strengthening friendships among ITAFoS members.
