SERDANG, 13^th August 2019 – Universiti Putra Malaysia-Kasetsart University Postgraduate Colloquium and Research Forum was organised by ITAFoS on 13-15 August 2019. This program was funded by the Malaysia Research University Network (MRUN) to strengthen the cooperation between Malaysia and Southeast Asian universities. Kasetsart University (KU) was invited as a collaborator for this programme. A total of 80 postgraduate students and researchers have participated in this programme. The research topic presented during the colloquium session covered food safety and quality, animal welfare and husbandry, as well as crop protection and cultivation. The research forum session provided a platform for exchanging ideas between participants, identify and promote solutions, and most importantly to come up with an international joint research proposal for the development of Agriculture and Food Security between UPM and KU.
