On 22 March 2022, a spring cleaning was held at the ITAFoS Animal Production Laboratory. This activity involved a total of two staff members and five students from the Laboratory of Sustainable Animal Production and Biodiversity. It is led by Mr. Mohd. Faizol as the Officer in charge of the laboratory. This spring cleaning was also held to clarify the samples that were in the freezer because there were samples that had expired and no longer used.

This program is conducted periodically, once every quarter to ensure the cleanliness and safety of staff and users of the laboratory. The 5s concept is practiced during cleaning works, where obsolete and unnecessary equipment are isolated or destroyed. As for moveable assets, they have been identified for disposal in the near future.

As a result of the spring cleaning, the laboratory looks more organized and has more space that can be utilized in the future. The Head of the Laboratory would like to thank everyone involved and strongly encourage this activity to be implemented according to the planned schedule.
