SERDANG, October 13 - The Institute of Tropical Agriculture and Food Security (ITAFoS) received a visit from the Bogor Agricultural Institute (IPB) delegation led by Prof. Dr. Anuraga Jayanegara from the Faculty of Animal Science, IPB. The purpose of the visit is to establish a research relationship between ITAFoS and IPB. Deputy Director of ITAFoS, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hasliza Abu Hassim, has welcomed and briefed on the organization structure, the main functions, and the research facilities available at ITAFoS. Among the main points discussed; is the intention of IPB to conduct a "Dual Degree Program" for IPB and UPM postgraduate students, particularly ITAFoS. Also present with Deputy Director was the Head of the Sustainable Animal Production and Biodiversity laboratory, Dr. Mamat Hamidi Kamalludin.
