Puchong, 21 October - Institute of Tropical Agriculture (ITA) had organized a one-day program on ‘Development and Personal Achievement’ for all officers and staff in ITA at the ‘Pusat Pendidikan Perhutanan Sultan Idris Shah (SISFEC), Faculty of Forestry, ‘Hutan Simpan Ayer Hitam’, Puchong, Selangor. The purpose of this program was to improve the quality of work and discipline, while providing the motivation to foster a high performance work culture among ITA staff.

 

The program included two motivational talks in the morning on 'Blessing in Work' presented by Pencetus Ummah Muhammad Hafiz bin Mohammed Haneefa (PU Hafiz), and on 'Personal Transformation Towards Employee Excellence' presented by Ms. Dalina Kamarudin from UPM Registrar Office, while in the afternoon the outdoor jungle tracking down the beautiful forest of SISFEC was conducted. Director of ITA, Prof. Dr. Zulkifli Idrus and Deputy Director, Prof. Dr. Mohd Razi Ismail were also presented to enliven the program.

 

The program had received an over whelming response among ITA staff. Hopefully, the knowledge and experience gained in the motivational talks and outdoor activity would be beneficial to all participants. Special thanks to the ITA’s management and SISFEC’s staff for their cooperation and effort to ensure the successof this program.
