SERDANG, 5 March - Institute for Tropical Agriculture and Food Security has been invited to celebrate the Putra Future Classroom (PFC) Launching Ceremony at the Faculty of Educational Studies, Universiti Putra Malaysia. The ceremony was officiated by the Minister of Education, YB. Dr. Maszlee Malik at Auditorium Faculty of Educational Studies, UPM. The inauguration of three future lecture rooms was completed as one of the 'Smart Campus' initiatives aimed at enabling technology-led learning and technology-assisted teaching to make it more conducive and fun for students and campus citizens. PFC serves as a reference center for classroom prototypes or future lecture rooms that utilize best practices of technology integration in learning and teaching. It also serves as a 'launching pad' of the technology and 'test bed' of a 21st century class or classroom lecture room which is constantly changing in line with the goal of producing the generation of 'ulul albab' generation of future proof, teak and superior as a science reference.
