SERDANG, 14 January - After years of research and development, ITAFoS has successfully introduced PadiU Putra to help overcome the problems of rice farmers. The PadiU Putra technology has received the attention of the Malaysian Minister of Education, YB Dr. Maszlee Malik, during the Majlis Amanat Menteri Pendidikan 2019 at the Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Hall, Culture and Arts Centre, UPM. During the event, ITAFoS Director, YBhg. Prof. Dr. Mohd Rafii Yusop provided brief explanation on the technology to the Minister who commended UPM and ITAFoS’ role in championing the efforts to help improve the economy and income of farmers.
