8 September 2022, Serdang - The Laboratory of Sustainable Animal Production and Biodiversity, Institute of Tropical Agriculture and Food Security (ITAFoS) has conducted a Journal Writing Workshop in Lecture Room 4, Faculty of Agriculture, Universiti Putra Malaysia. This workshop was attended by 23 people, including research officers and graduate students. The secretariat has also asked Dato' Dr. Mohd Ali Hassan, a distinguished professor, and researcher, to conduct a session and share his expertise with journal authoring.

The goal of this class is to deliver the finest journal writing advice possible. Participants are exposed to excellent journal writing strategies and become aware of the issues that students frequently confront when writing papers. It is intended that participants, particularly students, would be able to submit publications to relevant journals. This workshop is an excellent and successful program for improving abilities and raising awareness of the significance of scientific writing. It is anticipated that this workshop would be repeated in the future to assist students in writing a manuscript.
