COMMUNITY GRANT WRITING WORKSHOP

February 3, 2026 – The Community Grant Writing Workshop organized by the Institute's Industry and Community Relations Committee was held at the Meeting Room, ITAFoS as one of the initiatives to provide exposure and guidance on effective community grant writing techniques and meeting the evaluation criteria.

A total of 13 participants consisting of Management and Professional (non-academic) officers and members of the Institute's JINM committee participated in this workshop. This workshop was presented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Siti Izera Ismail who shared the effectiveness of grant applications and her experience in implementing community projects and preparing reports.

The organization of this workshop is hoped to improve the competence of participants in planning and implementing high-impact and sustainable community projects in the future.

Based on the feedback graph for the statement “The program benefits me”, a total of 6 respondents consisting of key participants provided an assessment. Of these, 4 people (66.7%) gave a score of 5, which means they strongly agree, while 2 people (33.3%) gave a score of 4, which means they agree. No respondents gave a score of 1, 2 or 3. Overall, these findings show that most participants provided very positive feedback and were satisfied with the program that was conducted. This program clearly provided significant benefits to the participants.
