The Institute of Tropical Agriculture and Food Security (ITAFoS), in collaboration with the ITAFoS Welfare and Recreation Club (KKDR), organised the ITAFoS Team Building Strengthening Program 2026 from 6 to 8 February 2026 at Rock Garden Camping Resort, Gopeng, Perak.

This programme is part of ITAFoS’ continuous initiative to strengthen camaraderie and enhance teamwork effectiveness among the institute’s staff members. Throughout the three-day programme, participants were exposed to various activities incorporating elements of adventure, recreation, leisure, and knowledge-sharing to ensure a balanced development of physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

Among the key highlights of the programme were telematch activities and white water rafting, which were specifically designed to test teamwork, strategic thinking, and effective group communication. In addition, the motivational session and barbecue dinner held in the evening further fostered closer bonds among participants in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Overall, the ITAFoS Team Building Strengthening Program 2026 successfully achieved its intended objectives and is expected to have a positive impact on work culture while further strengthening the spirit of unity among ITAFoS members in the future.
