Serdang, 26 November 2025 – The Laboratory of Agriculture and Food Policy (LKDPM) and the Laboratory of Climate-Smart Food Crop Production, Institute of Tropical Agriculture and Food Security (ITAFoS), Universiti Putra Malaysia, successfully organized the Journal Writing Workshop No. 1/2025 at the LKDPM Training Room, ITAFoS.

A total of 14 students and three Research Officers participated in the workshop, which aimed to strengthen academic writing skills and enhance effective research communication.

The workshop began with a session entitled “Write to Publish” delivered by Prof. Dr. Abdul Rahim Abdul Samad, focusing on high-impact writing strategies and effective approaches in academic publishing. This was followed by a presentation from Associate Professor Ts. Dr. Siti Izera Ismail titled “Communicating Your Research Project: Essential Tips for Success”, which provided key guidance and techniques for presenting research findings clearly, systematically, and convincingly.

Through this workshop, participants are expected to enhance the quality of their scholarly output and contribute to improving research productivity at the institute level.
