On 19th July 2024, Serdang - ITAFoS are pleased to announce the visit of a delegation from Shanghai Ocean University to Institute to explore opportunities for research collaboration. The delegation is led by Professor Zhang Wei, a leading expert in Marine Science at the university.

The primary objectives of this visit are:

• Discuss Research Collaboration: To explore potential collaboration in marine research, including marine conservation, marine biotechnology, and resource preservation.
• Strengthen Relationships: To enhance cooperation between our institutions in academic exchange and joint development.

During their visit, the delegation were engage in strategic meetings with our key professors and researchers. Planned activities include workshops, field visits, and structured dialogues to identify suitable research areas for collaboration.

We hope that this visit will lead to increased collaboration between both parties, facilitating the exchange of knowledge and beneficial technologies. By combining resources and expertise from both sides, we aim to achieve meaningful research advancements in the field of marine science.
