Teluk Intan, 27 October 2025 – A Revision Training on Questionnaire and Data Collection session was held at the Solidaridad (Perak) Office in Teluk Intan, involving Solidaridad Perak’s field officer and facilitated by the ITAFOS research team under the National Initiatives for Sustainable and Climate Smart Oil Palm Smallholders 2 (NISCOPS 2) Programme.

The training aimed to ensure consistency in understanding and implementing data collection procedures in the field, as well as to enhance the participants’ comprehension of the questionnaire instrument used. Through review and discussion sessions with the lead researchers, participants were provided with detailed guidance on the questionnaire structure, interview procedures, and data recording methods to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the information collected.

In addition, the training served as a platform to strengthen coordination between the researchers and the field team prior to the actual implementation at the study sites. This step is crucial to ensure that the data collected is consistent and meets the analytical requirements of the ongoing NISCOPS2 study.

The session concluded with a question-and-answer segment and a data-collection simulation to ensure that all participants fully understood their respective roles and responsibilities in implementing the study.
