SERDANG, 30 July 2024 - The Institute of Tropical Agriculture and Food Security (ITAFoS) underwent the Second Evaluation Session of the Public Sector Conducive Ecosystem (EKSA) for the Workplace Environment Quality Award in conjunction with the Universiti Putra Malaysia Service Quality and Innovation Day (HKIP) 2023 /2024. This evaluation is a follow-up to the First Stage Evaluation that was conducted on January 12, 2024.

This assessment has been carried out at ITAFoS office locations, laboratories and farm in order to ensure a systematic and practical quality work environment, and at the same time to maintain the corporate image. EKSA practices at ITAFoS not only improve the quality and the productivity of employees but also reduce the institute's operating costs through time and space.

The opening and closing meeting of the evaluation session was chaired by Chairman of the EKSA ITAFoS Executive Committee Mrs. Rina Mazni Musa, who is also the representative of the ITAFoS management. Pn Rina received the overall feedback on the results of the evaluation that was carried out by two EKSA assessors, Mrs. Lily Amira Hazinan from Pusat Pertanian Putra UPM and Puan Siti Noriza Samad from Tan Sri Aishah Ghani College. The EKSA Coordinator and the members of the EKSA ITAFoS Executive Committee were also present during the meeting.

ITAFoS hopes to receive excellent results from the EKSA evaluation. The Management also expressed their appreciation to all ITAFoS members who have given their high commitment and cooperation in making EKSA practice a success at ITAFoS.
