Earth Day is celebrated around the world every April 22 to remind people of our responsibility towards the environment and the importance of sustainable practices in caring for the earth. The theme of earth day this year is: Planet Vs Plastics.

In conjunction with the launch of UPM Earth Day 2024 on 25 April 2024 (Thursday), ITAFoS also took the initiative to make the celebration a success. A total of 15 kg of used paper and 5 kg of used materials in the form of cables/electrical equipment have been successfully collected. All the used materials have been sent to the Panggung Percubaan, Pusat Kebudayaan dan Kesenian Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah.

Hopefully with this small effort we can act in preserving our earth for future generations.
